The Powerful “No-Rinse-Out” Wound Irrigation Solution

ViaCLYR, based on the patented Clyrasept Regenerative-Iodine technology, is a highly effective, pH balanced, tissue-safe and long-lasting antimicrobial wound irrigation solution for cleansing, irrigating, and debriding acute and chronic wounds and burns.

ViaCLYRTM provides sustained action, in a safe and effective form, maintaining controlled amounts of free iodine and copper ions working synergistically to cleanse, irrigate, and debride wounds, and potentially minimize complications of microbial infection and biofilm formation.

  • Extremely high antimicrobial activity as a preservative in solution

  • 99.99999% kill rate (log 7 reduction) with sustained efficacy of 3 days or more

  • Suitable for use on acute and chronic wounds, dermal lesions, stage I-IV pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, post-surgical wounds, burns, trauma wounds, abrasions, skin grafts, donor sites, and more

  • ViaCLYR™ also helps minimize the risk of infection by inhibiting biofilms and killing a broad spectrum of bacteria, yeast, fungi, viruses, spores, and antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria.

  • Wound cleansers can be indicated for use at each dressing change or as a solution placed in a device that accomplishes irrigation and debridement

  • ViaCLYR™ offers shelf-stable and cost-effective solutions for improving outcomes in wound and skin care while preventing infection rates and thereby the need for antibiotic usage

How does ViaCLYR Work?

ViaCLYR’s Regenerative-Iodine technology, based on its patented Copper-Iodine Complex, acts as a powerful, broad-spectrum and persistent antimicrobial preservative that helps remove contamination within the solution to provide effective wound cleansing.

Physiologic pH for Effective Wound Healing — ViaCLYR’s pH of 5.0 supports an environment that aligns with the body’s natural wound healing processes. The typically alkaline pH of chronic lesions can promote microorganism proliferation and biofilm growth, reduce oxygen and collagen production, and increase proinflammatory proteins, significantly hindering wound healing. Following debridement, the irrigating action of ViaCLYR promotes normal dermal pH and supports the body’s wound healing processes.

ViaCLYR incorporates Clyra’s powerful yet safe Clyrasept technology, utilizing a patented Copper-Iodine Complex
